Curriculum vitae

Profile:

Sarah Duncan received her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) in 2022 from A.T. Still University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science (2000) and Masters of Science (2002) degree in audiology from Missouri State University. Throughout her career, Sarah gained a variety of experience including ENT clinics, educational, and hospital settings. She has worked with pediatric and adult patients, providing a variety of hearing healthcare services. Her experience helping others has resulted in a particular interest in working with patients to reduce the burden of hearing impairment through improved audibility and effective communication strategies.

Sarah has been a licensed audiologist in St.Louis, Missouri and/or Albuquerque, New Mexico since 2002. She enjoys spending time in the great outdoors walking, biking and hiking with her family and furry friends.  She joined UNM Speech and Hearing Clinic in 2018, where she is an instructor, supervisor, and clinical audiologist. Sarah is the vice-president of audiology for the New Mexico Speech-Language Hearing Association (NMSHA); she also carries the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), which is awarded through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
