Ms. Dolan earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communicative Disorders from the University of New Mexico. Subsequently, she worked for 28 years as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) in the Albuquerque Public Schools at the elementary and middle school levels, during which time she often supervised SLP graduate students in their practicum/internship rotations.  In addition, Ms. Dolan has presented numerous inservice topics related to childhood language and literacy development to school staffs and preschool parent/teacher groups.  Her areas of professional interest include the interrelationship and development of language and literacy skills and the development of social communication skills in school age and adolescent populations.
