Profile:

Ms. Hartley is a Clinic Instructor/Lecturer in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences.  She received a B.A. in Communicative Disorders and an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of New Mexico. Prior to holding this position, Ms. Hartley worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Albuquerque, NM for 27 years in school, private practice and community settings. She has diverse experience with people ranging in age from 2 years to young adulthood. Her professional experience and areas of interest include early intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorders and social communication, hearing loss, and childhood language/ literacy skills. Ms. Hartley has had the privilege of working in educational teams with families and other disciplines including social workers, audiologists, occupational and physical therapists, and teachers.
