Clinical Services

The University of New Mexico Speech and Language Hearing Center provides speech, language,swallowing and hearing services across the lifespan while serving as a clinical training site for graduate students in Speech and Hearing Sciences. Graduate student clinicians provide evidence-based assessment and treatment under the supervision of licensed and certified speech-language pathologists. As a student training facility, referrals do not guarantee services, and acceptance is based on factors such as training needs, clinic capacity, supervisor availability, and the clinic's ability to meet an individual's needs. The clinic follows the UNM academic calendar and is closed during university breaks and other periods when classes are not in session.
