Undergraduate Student Selected for Leadership Program

Joshuaa Allison-Burbank was recently selected for ASHA's 2012 Minority Student Leadership Program. He will participate in leadership-focused educational programs and activities, network with leaders in the speech, language, and hearing sciences, and share his work in developing a framework of care for Native American children with cleft lip and palate. He plans to attend this year's ASHA convention to share his work and research in supporting the communication needs of Native American children with clefts.  Joshuaa completed his Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences in Summer 2012.
