Late Talkers:  Language Development, Interventions, and Outcomes, edited by Leslie A. Rescorla and SHS Professor Philip S. Dale, has recently been published by Brookes Publishing. It is a state-of-the-art review of what we know about children whose language development is delayed as toddlers: identification and classification, causes, longitudinal outcomes of late talking, and selecting appropriate interventions. The book includes chapters by many of the leading researchers in the area of early language delay and impairments.
