Mini ASHA in the department on November 7

On Thursday, November 7, the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences will hold “Mini ASHA” in preparation for the 2013 ASHA Convention in Chicago. The fun starts at 2:30 p.m. in the SHS classroom and will include:
2:30 "Early Sentence Productions by 5-year-olds using AAC: Effects of Augmented Output" Cathy Binger, Ph.D.
3:00 "Late Talkers: What do we know now?" Philip Dale, Ph.D.
3:20 “Mining Endurance: New ways to think about oral motor function.” Phyllis M. Palmer, Ph.D.
3:50 "Using dynamic assessment to assess syntax with 5-year-olds using an AAC iPad app." Marika King, B.A.
4:20 Poster Session - Each poster presenter will give a 5 minute summary presentation. Posters will be projected on LCD.
