Join us on Friday, October 4, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in SUB Ballroom C, for a continuing education event titled "Management of Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Conditions in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Populations," presented by Dr. Kelly Nett Cordero.This course is offered for 0.6 ASHA CEUs (Intermediate level, Professional area) or 6 hours state (NM) CEUs.

This presentation will address the cultural differences in beliefs regarding etiology and care of cleft and craniofacial conditions. Extensive resources for working with culturally and linguistically diverse patients with cleft and craniofacial conditions will be provided.

Dr. Cordero is the bilingual/craniofacial speech-language pathologist for the Center for Craniofacial Services and the Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Supervisor at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Register by September 20 to receive the early registration rate!  Full details on the presentation and registration information can be found in the program brochure.
